Manufactured by PT Technologies Europe, PF-QD is a fast evaporating and odourless solvent for zero residue cleaning and degreasing. A non corrosive solvent on metal such as copper, aluminium, magnesium and stainless steel, PF-QD is suitable for use on metal and painted surfaces. Compatible with resins, plastics & elastomeric rubbers, its low surface tension provides excellent wetting action, even with difficult plastics. PF-QD is suitable for a variety of applications, in both general industry and specific niche industries such as Aerospace and Power, including but not limited to:

The MAA has organised a series of events on 23 Jan, 31 Jan & 8 Feb 2012 for manufacturing businesses to learn best manufacturing practices for the aerospace sector and to understand how they can benefit from the new manufacturing technologies being developed at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) by key customers such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce and Aero Engine Controls. The events cover advances in tooling and fixturing, advances in net shape manufacturing & advances in high integrity fabrication.
PT Technologies Europe, a Tier 1 Supplier to Airbus UK, will be attending the event on 31st January & 08th February. We have a range of products and programmes for surface preparation and cleaning in MRO & OEM including solvent cleaning products for sealant removal, surface cleaning & degreasing and a waterbased degreaser as an aqueous alternative to solvents. All of our products are designed to aid reductions in solvent consumption, VOC emissions, health & safety exposure and to eliminate the risks associated with hazardous product.
